A great way to learn about all things colour and style related is to join a local group event with like-minded people. I am very lucky to live in an area with a vibrant group culture for ladies of all ages.

As an image consultant I am invited to talk on various subjects, not just colour! I have covered ‘how to detox your wardrobe’. ‘how to choose the right glasses for you’, ‘finding your style’ – in fact whatever I am asked to cover I can usually do! I absolutely love these events and find them very motivational and I also get to meet so many interesting people!

I was recently invited to talk to a group of extremely inspiring ladies who are members of a Health & Fitness Group for Over 40’s women. It was their bi-annual social get-together and included talks and presentations on a wide range of subjects. This took place at the lovely Toft Country Hotel and as well as my talk on ‘The Power of Colour’ we learnt about how to tackle emotional eating, how to set (and complete) challenges and the rewards of doing this, as well as some very useful financial advice on pensions and wills. This was followed by a delicious lunch and a shopping session!

A local village Ladies Group also asked me to come and talk to them in the village hall. Well, what a fun night we had talking all things colour and style – as well as partaking in a few glasses of vino! I covered the importance of wearing your best colours and how to make the most of your body shape and all the ladies had a chance to discover their own unique style personality. We finished off the evening with some top tips on detoxing your wardrobe and how to shop your wardrobe using hero pieces to create lots of different outfits! Hopefully I was able to inspire the group to have a good sort out!

As I said I love doing these evenings as I meet so many lovely people and of course get to spread the word about the wonders of colour! If you are part of a ladies group, whether social or through work and are looking for something a little different then get in touch!
